DJ KAZ D. a.k.a Mr. SO SO NICE, a.k.a MASTER OF SOULMIX, a.k.a FULL OPTION.. A long list of nick names, just as long as the list of clubs and events DJ KAZ D. has rocked since his debut in late 1994. Let's rewind and make it clear to you folks... DJ KAZ D's detailed musical Bio can be written as a book, for it is so long and rich. A real globe trotter, Kaz D. was born in Congo.. moved to Europe to study. His love for music got him in a dancing crew called NEW EDITION.. Quickly realized that rapping aint nothing for him, he naturally opted for the DJ game. In 1994, The legendary Jamaican DJ KID DRAGON was the one to give him the opportunity to stand on the wheels of steel and learn how to do the damn thing. Talented and fast learning, he got to start flying on his own, rocking different relatively small parties and students events.
Ambitious, he went further, using his very funky mixtapes to get exposure and therefore gigs in the clubs. Trying to make a difference, he uses a lot of elements from his afro-caribbean background to spice up his sets.. That makes his sets very attractive for big parties and festivals. Being able to pump some massive energy to the dancefloor got him a solid reputation all around Europe, both East and West. To talk about the Czech republic, where he is now based, he is highly rated as a party DJ. No need to name the clubs and events I had the blessing to perform in, because it is a long, really long list. Black Jesus
DJ Black Jesus se narodil do velmi muzikální rodiny, a tak se jeho láska k hudbě vyvíjela už od útlého věku. Hudba v jeho žilách koluje po víc než dvě desetiletí a i proto se není čemu divit, že se poprvé za mixážní pult postavil, když byl ještě malý kluk. Od té doby už je k nezastavení. Jako malý byl členem taneční skupiny, se kterou hodně cestoval.
Když s djingem začínal, hrál nejdřív na malých studentských párty, ale postupně se dostával k velkým akcím, začal pravidelně hrát v koktailových barech, nočních klubech a open air akcích v Londýně pod jménem NASTY DEE. Postupně si získával reputaci skvělého dje a ta mu zajistila vystoupení i za hranicemi jeho města a země.
Je to hlavně dobré hudební ucho, magické ruce a jeho taneční kreace, co rozproudí každou párty. Black Jesus je bezesporu jedinečný showman a místo slov za něj mluví jeho ruce a výběr skvělé hudby a na jeho show se jen tak nezapomíná. Jak se říká: „všude dobře, doma nejlíp“. I podle tohoto pořekadla, Blakc Jesus nikdy nezapomíná odkud pochází a to ho vede tím správným směrem. Jeho dětství v Ghaně ovlivnilo jeho osobnost, motivaci a cílevědomost a on je na svůj původ a zemi patřičně hrdý.
Black Jesus je známý a respektovaný dj po celé Evropě a jeho první mixy vyšly v létě 1996 pod názvy “Fuck Da Drugs” a “Ain’t Nothin But Trouble”. Od té doby vytváří skvělé remixy známých hitů a je k vidění a slyšení hlavně čtvrtky, pátky a soboty v těch nejlepších místních a zahraničních klubech. V ČR ho můžete pravidelně vidět v Sasazu v Praze, v Očko Music Klubu, Unicome, Ďábelské Huti, Duplexu, RnB Paradise, Club 101 a tak by se dalo pokračovat.
Během jeho hudební kariery spolupracoval se spousty místních i zahraničních umělců. Byl by to dlouhý list, proto jen pro představu Black Jesus vystupoval po boku takových hvězd, jako jsou CRAIG DAVID, GEORGE MICHAEL, BLACK EYED PEAS, VANILA ICE, PANJABI MC, DJ TOMEKK, KARMAH, BUDDHA STRETCH, DANTE 7, GUS BEMBERY a z místních YEMI AD, SAMER ISSA a VICTORIA.
Belize
DJ Belize v roce 2006 dostává nabídku pracovat pro nový klub v karibském státě Belize/Belize City/Zde zacíná pracovat jako program manager a DJ pro klub Palm Island. Brzo se zde stává jako DJ velikou exotikou, protože je to jediný evropský DJ, který v této cásti sveta hrál. Brzo se sžívá s místním stylem partys, který se ani trochu nepodá tomu na což je každý evropan zvyklý. Jelikož je Belize velmi rozmanitá země poskládáná z různých kultur, toto se odráží i v muzice což DJ Belize brzo přijme za vlastní. Misí se zde černošské vlivy jako Reggae, Soca s vlivy latinské ameriky Reggaeton a samozřejmě je zde vliv USA RnB, Hip Hopu. To vše zažijete v jedné party akorát zde. DJ Belize se specializuje na Reggaeton a Rnb, kde je mu vzorem místní DJ Supermario což je místní hvezda Latinos Radia Esterea Amor.www.estereoamor.bz ístními DJs www.belizeanvibes.com a radii produkuje DJ Belize partys jako Belizes Superstar Soundstation/Diggnittariz/Tag International/Stone jam/Longside Unity Sound Selecta/Cloud 9 Sound/Angel Night/Never Sleep atd.
V současné době DJ Belize opět hraje ČR kde má rezidentní noc v klubu M1. Dále nepravidelně kluby Radost FX www.radostfx.cz/O2 Žluté lázne a v prestižních pražských klubech.
House
DJ Tripmain
Tripmain započel svou Djskou kariéru v Zimbabwe a z velkým úspěchem v ní pokračuje v Praze, kam se přestěhoval za studiem. Je považován za nejžhavější pražský objev a stal se rezidentem v sedmi klubech jen za poslední rok. Jeho hra v sobě nese mix mnoho stylů - funk house, electro, progressive, trance - a jeho vystoupeníí jsou příslovečná svou enrgií.
DJ Brian
Brian is one of the biggest names in Czech house music, known both locally and in international circles. After starting his DJ career at the age of 16 by spinning regularly in Prague's NASA club, Brian acquired his first resident night at famed Czech techno club CZ Beat. This was quickly followed by residencies at Le Clan and Duplex. By the summer of 2002, Brian had become a resident DJ and production manager at Mecca, one of the largest clubs in the Czech Republic. During his regular Olympia night there, he performs alongside such internationally-renowned DJs as Armand van Helden, David Morales, Frankie Knuckles, Milk and Sugar, Boby and Steve, and Silicone Soul. His work has taken him around Europe to Paris, Ibiza, Switzerland, Poland, Italy, the Ukraine, and others.
Chris Sadler
Chris Sadler is one of Prague's most respected and sought-after DJs, known for his brand of uplifting, funky, and powerful house. Born and raised in Nottingham, England, he was first introduced to dance music through regular trips to Cream, Club U.K., and Atomic Jam. After completing university with an honours degree in Biomedicine, Chris moved to Prague to pursue his career as a DJ. He quickly gained the respect of local promoters, who eventually hired him to play at Prague's best-known clubs and most prestigious dance parties alongside the likes of Josh Wink, Colin Dale, Derrick May, Luke Slater, and Roni Size. In 1998, he began his residency at Roxy for the Prague club's enormously popular monthly Climax parties, which are still ongoing today. Over the years Chris has consolidated his position as an indispensable part of the Czech dance scene, headlining events up and down the country, playing for crowds of up to 30,000 people and securing over 100 bookings every year.
DJ Martez
Martez strated playing in Prague in the middle of 2002 in various music bars and cafes, followed by renowned house, dance and pop clubs. His prefered style is remixing different genres. His most favoured are funky/club house style tracks, but you'll also hear soulful house tracks with nice vocals and funky instruments. In his DJ sets you can also find progressive and tribal or electro house elements. A very special side of his DJs sets is the cooperation with live musicians like the saxophone-player Andrea, a bongo-man (Pepino-bongista), an opera singer Angel-Eye (New-York) or a group consisting of two female violinists and one female vocal (Femme2Fatale).
DJ Lafayette
DJ Lafayette je is a master of euphoric dance mood with an extraordinary sense of choosing the tracks. In his sets meet the funky, tribal, and soulful house elements in a brilliant composition. Presently he is one of the most respected Czech club DJs. He started his DJ experience at the age of 16 in Club 19 (Kladno), where he also got his first residenture nights. Because of his profiled style a booking agency - Eastbase - contacted him in 2000 and offered him next DJ jobs in Prague. During the next years he became a regular DJ guest in clubs like MECCA, RADOST FX, DUPLEX, M1 etc.
DJ Loutka
Loutka je nerozlučně spjat s počátky taneční scény v Čechách. Se svým manerismem a nenapodobitelným stylem je jednou z nejznámějších postav Českého housu. Stal se DJejem v roce 1991 v legendárním Pražském klubu Mish Mash. V roce 1993 spolu-založil agenturu Roxydust, která v počátcích organizovala první ravy u Čechách a DJ Loutka byl hlavní hvězdou většiny z nich. Byl pozván do Amsterdamu v roce 1994 a stal se prvním mezinárodně známým a uznávaným Českým DJejem. Od roku 2001 se zaměřil na produkci vlastní hudby a vydal dva singly pod Beeswax records label.
